Cottonseed oil is most often used in soaps, creams, and cosmetics, but is also used in salad oils, mayonnaise, fried foods, candies (particularly chocolates) and to polish fruits. Cottonseed oil is derived from the seeds of the cotton plant and is one of the most widely used edible oils in the world.
