Use titanium dioxide to lighten our FDC Dyes. Titanium Dioxide is a Food Grade powder (vegan and gluten free); however, do not use more than 1% by weight. It is the white colorant of choice for use in food products and soap-making, making your soap bright white. For food applications it is referred to as Pigment White. Due to its outstanding light & heat stability, Titanium Dioxide is also used in many personal care products such as sunscreen. In cosmetics, it has the ability to absorb UV rays, thereby reducing the suns damaging effects.
